someone said something in a mean tone and I cried

Triggers are interesting. While I am volunteering at this healing center I had a co volunteer who asked me to stop asking him questions. He said it a little bit irritated and I walked away and cried.

I realized I was not crying about the thing he said but his tone triggered a wound within me.

I felt very hurt and realized healing is not always easy, part of the process is these painful parts that get opened up by others.

It’s good to realize that when we have “extreme” reactions to certain things, it often comes from another wound.

Release the emotion, cry and move forward!
