the most important things in astrocartography

There are some different things that are important when we look within astrocartography. I wrote a blogpost about astrocartography before but here are some more details and information for you!

While your map shows where planetary energy is strong, your relocation chart reveals how that energy is expressed when you’re living in or visiting a place.

A relocation chart is your birth chart, but cast as if you were born in a different location. This changes the house placements of your planets and that’s huge.

For example:

A Venus line may run through Peru, but if Venus lands in your 10th house there, it could enhance visibility and creative work. If it’s in your 4th, it might bring beauty and ease into your home and inner world.

This layer gives depth and clarity to your map.

Always use both:
The astro map shows where,
The relocation chart shows how.

How it highlights where energies of the planet becomes louder and it amplifies the natal chart, this is always leading.

Here’s the magic and the medicine of astrocartography: no matter where you go, your natal chart still lives within you. You’re not leaving yourself behind, you’re experiencing yourself in new ways, in new places. The stars shift their stage, but the soul remains in its sacred script. The natal chart is always leading.

The line will activate the story in your birthchart. If venus is square saturn in the birth chart, the venus line might still bring relationships but still with themes of commitment, distance or emotional maturity.

There are multiple ways to activate the line

By living there, this is the strongest influence.

Traveling there, which often activates the energy temporarily.

People from that place: sometimes the line activates through relationships with people from that region.

Remote activation and you can sometimes connect with a place symbolically.
Examples: studying the culture, working with people there and bringing objects from that place into your life.

Another important thing is that on most astrocartography maps, the line itself is where the planet was exactly on the angle. But the influence spreads outward. A common rule many astrologers use: About 200–300 km (125–200 miles) on each side of the line. So you don’t have to be exactly on the line to feel it.

Very interesting, did you know these fun astrocartography facts?
