Staying true to yourself is a medicine. It gives you a calmness. When you are texting with people or communicating. You flow from your own inner wisdom. Do not overthink your responses, do not ask for help on what to say. Just stay true yo yourself.
I noticed this is the best thing to do – it helps you to stop the monkey mind.
Do not shrink yourself and do not overextend yourself. You honor your rhythm, sharing what is important to you and allowing the other to respond or not. It is emotionally mature and self respecting.
If something is not ok for someone, or they are uncomfortable it is up to this person to communicate that to you. You just leave space for that.
Do not preform, do not wait for someone, do not abandon yourself, do not try to control. Be open, loving and honest. This will always feel clean, grounding and empowering.
Let the other person acknowledge what you say, and do the same in return. Light and connected tone. There is a natural rhythm of communication: simple and sweet, without pressure.
There is no need to be ashamed when you stay true to yourself. This helps you to stop anxiety and overthinking of your responses. It is a beautiful thing!
