Sometimes when we join a plant medicine ceremony such as ayahuasca we think nothing happens.
But this is not true.
By feeling “nothing” the channel is being opened. The connection to the plant world is being established.
When there are “just” physical sensations this is a detox and a nervous system resets and release.
Then when the energetical hit comes this is when the real deep work begins.
It’s powerful to work with the plants and don’t underestimate the work.
There’s always something that is happening. Even if you don’t seem to notice it!
Even after a few ceremonies with visions sometimes a ceremony with none comes: but more focus on body pains and movements. This means you have received what you needed and it’s time to deeply embody and integrate.
When there’s no vomiting this can indicate a more subtle and energetic way of learning.
When we are ceremony and there are visions: sometimes we don’t remember them later. The ones we do remember are anchors for the reality we live in.
The medicine gives you what you ask for but not always in the form you expect.
