Other ways we speak: there are so many ways we communicate that go far beyond words. I want to share some examples and ways.
Our dreams: Dreams bypass logic. They speak in symbols, emotion, memory, archetype. They hold messages the waking mind often doesn’t understand, but the soul does.
Plant Medicine: In ceremony, language becomes irrelevant. You feel the truth in your bones. You see songs as light. You remember things beyond time. The plants don’t speak English. But they speak.
Movement & the Body: Your body remembers what the mind forgets. A tremble, a sigh, a sway – these are words too. Sometimes the deepest release comes through dance or stillness, not explanation.
Music, Sound, and Scent:
A sound bowl, a favorite song, the scent of palo santo – these carry information, memory, healing. Not with grammar. But with frequency.
Art & Creation: Clay, paint, charcoal, thread – they all carry stories. Art speaks where words fall short. A brushstroke can carry heartbreak. A sculpture can embody a prayer. When we create with our hands, we channel something ancient, sacred, and wordless. This is soul language made visible.
Energy & Intuition:
We’ve all felt it: someone walks in and changes the energy of the room. No words exchanged, but something is said. We speak through our presence, our gaze, our energy field.
Feeling isn’t less than thinking. It’s another kind of knowing. And for many of us – especially sensitive souls – it’s our first language.
We were told we were “too much,” “too emotional,” “too sensitive.” But what if we were just too real for a system that forgot how to feel?
The truth is: presence heals. Not explanation. Being with someone in silence, with an open heart, can say more than a thousand words ever could.
There are many ways for us to communicate beyond words. Our ancestors knew this. They spoke in stories, song, rhythm, ritual. They used symbol and silence and shared space.
We are remembering. Coming home to the ways we used to listen – and the ways we used to speak.
This blog isn’t here to explain everything. It’s here to feel with you. To remind you that: your dreams matter, your body is wise, the silence between words is sacred
and you don’t need to say everything to be understood
Sometimes, the truest connection happens without a single sentence. Just presence. Just breath. Just being. And that is more than enough.
