There’s a lot of beauty in going with the flow in life. It gives you the opportunities you least expected. You meet amazing people and wonderful things happen within the unexpected.
Planning on the other hand offers structure and direction. Which without this – the flow is overwhelming.
With my Virgo rising I’m a planner at heart, I like it when things are organized. Especially within my own mind.
I see planning as a framework – the frame that holds the painting. Where in life can flow as art.
It’s important to keep space for the art, to keep space for random and going with the flow.
Especially in travel life it is interesting. Some travelers go with the flow very literally. But me I like some form of structure. Sometimes I book a ticket leaving the country before I’ve even arrived. Like I booked my flight to leave Asia months ago.
I see it as our souls wisdom. It knows when it’s time to leave a place before we’ve even arrived. It also knows to remind you your journey isn’t finished.
I think if I wouldn’t have had my flight out of Asia I might never leave – and there’s more for me to unpack. On the other side of the world.
It is to not get “stuck” in one place. It is a reminder there’s more. My soul knows my journey and guides radically! Be open, flow – but take the signs as a direction!
