Greece is one of my favorite countries in Europe. It has beautiful beaches and the hospitality of the Greek people is another level. They are so friendly and welcoming.
Some of the best islands to visit are small ones, where tourism is there but not into the extreme such as Mykonos or Santorini.
The last trip I took we visited the Cyclades. Including Sifnos where you can stay at the beautiful Villa Frazeska and some good restaurants include Meropi and Avlemonas. The beach is amazing here, has a few trees and it is so relaxing.
The other island we visited was Serifos, which has an amazing beach as well called Livadakia beach. Full off little trees and it was not busy. On this island you can also take a bus to the top village which is very cute and old. Metalleio, Kalis Seafood restaurant, Greek Eatery, Mpakakaki and Indigo were some of our favorite restaurants.
There are so many islands to explore and when you visit the less popular ones the prices of the local ferries are all so way more affordable. Greece is beautiful, has amazing food and mainly the hospitality is outstanding.
