dear fairy self…

A little meditation, a letter to you. From the heart. One that guides you through. When you are unsure, when you feel anxious. When someone enters on your path and you do not know what to do, but you do!! This letter, meditation, blog post is from me to you, from me to me, from you to you. It is based on my analogies of fairyland and the streets.

Dear Self,

You are a fairy. A grounded, magical, conscious being who moves through life with gentleness and intention. You’ve created your own world — a fairyland full of tea houses, quiet mornings, nourishing food, kind hearts, deep conversation, and soft laughter. You know what brings you peace. You know what makes you feel safe, seen, and alive.

And still, there are people who pass through your life — curious, kind, maybe even beautiful in their own wild way. Like the one who loves different things. Someone who brings a different kind of energy. And it’s tempting. The spark. The what-if. The maybe.

But fairyland is not built on “maybe.” It’s built on knowing.

You’ve walked your own streets, filled them with the shops and sounds and flavors that feel like home. You don’t judge the other streets. You visit them sometimes, even enjoy the color and chaos. But you know where your roots belong. You know your nervous system doesn’t lie.

And your wizard or fairy — the one who’ll walk beside you through this life — he or she lives here too. On your street. Or wants to. Not because you asked him or her to change, but because he or she breathes easier here. Because peace tastes sweeter to her or him than stimulation. Because fairyland feels like home to her or him, too.

So stay steady. You’re not being picky. You’re being true. You’re not building a fantasy — you’re protecting your reality, one you’ve worked hard to create.

Trust that clarity is kindness. To you. To her or him. To what could be.

Let yourself flow — no pushing, no rushing.

Your street is enough.
Your world is enough.
You are enough.

With love,
Your Fairy Self
