So this analogy came to me while considering my list for finding my wizard. Especially when someone asked me if it’s ok if my wizard drinks alcohol or likes to party.
Think of a city, a big one or a small one, full of streets. Every street has different things to offer. Some are full of shops and others full of cafes.
My street, the one I’m rooted and I like to live is full of tea houses, matcha cafes, book stores, falafel place, kombucha, whole and fresh food shops, yoga studio and a big park.
I like to visit streets with techno bars or festivals outside the city from time to time. To visit streets with art galleries and museums, once in a while pass a street where I don’t like any of the places but just walk through – quickly.
For instance meat eating can be a butcher in the street, having a fast food chain – or many. Having bars with 1+1 cocktail deals. Let your imagination go wild!!!
My friends sometimes live in my street or in other streets that have a combination of things they like in their lives. That’s ok because I visit them, not all the time, sometimes.
But my wizard is someone who lives on my street or is willing to move to my street. Or where we create a street with things we both enjoy. But I don’t want to have a bar in my street or very loud music or intensity.
So that’s the answer to the question, it’s just the best when someone is living in the same street as you. Occasionally bringing some things from other streets or visiting other places. But root ourselves.
You can also use this analogy with friends or family. Do you want your friends to live in the same street? Or same neighborhood? Or you don’t mind? What are similar stores or shops within your streets?
Even with family it’s possible, did you move to the house next door in the same street? Kept the same likes and dislikes? Or did you move far away and adapted other values?
It’s fun to look at it this way and maybe even be able explain to people around you!
Light to you!
