Transits in astrology are the current planets in the sky put around your personal birth chart. Your natal chart.
These transits have an external influence on your chart. For example the sun makes its way through the 12 zodiacs in one year. But there are many other planets and some go very slow. Pluto can stay up to 30 years in one sign of the zodiac.
You can find the transits when you go to astro.com or another tool and pull up your natal birth chart, you click on “add transits”. You will see that they turn around your chart in green.
The most intense transits and transformations are done when there is a slow moving planet, making an aspect with our sun or moon. The sun represents the self and the moon represents our inner world.
Especially when one of these slow moving planets is Uranus or Pluto. Uranus breaks free and wants to cut out of the structure. Pluto removes everything that does not serve you anymore.
So imagine these energies with the self and our inner world. Intense transformation.
A conjunction is when the green transit planet is next to the natal planet, and an opposition is when the green transit planet is right across from the natal planet. These are the most intense “aspects” in the transit x natal chart.
Uranus is still in Taurus and will in July move into Gemini. Pluto just moved in Aquarius. So do you have any placements in Taurus, Scorpio, Gemini, Sagittarius, Aquarius and/or Leo – the transits are coming!
Do not worry, I went through a Pluto opposition Sun for 2.5 years and it was a little hectic but remember the universe never gives us more then we can handle.
