Your progressed moon is the inner drive – it changes houses every 2.5 years. When my progressed moon entered my 9th house I felt the need, the urge to leave my country and travel the world. I booked a flight to Panama.
To go out into the world and to go travel. This makes a lot of sense due to the 9th house ruling over long distance travel, religion, higher education and finding answers.
During this time I spend a couple months in Central America – I learned a lot especially when the moon was still in Aries. It was a quick action taking towards this new life.
When my progressed moon entered in Taurus I started to be interested in the plant medicine world. Which is funny to me because Taurus rules over nature. So I felt more connected to nature and gained a lot of 9th house themed answers through the plants.
Towards the end of my stay in Central America I was craving a routine and some stability (typical Taurus energy). But I did not want to go “home” and decided to move to Spain and start a life on routine. Although this was not aligning with my values.
Since this was not for me, after 4 months I quit and traveled a bit in Portugal, decided to do a yoga teacher training and did some experimental dancing (9th house topic). I finally got a job offer to work as a flight attendant which seemed like the perfect balance of routine in Amsterdam (Taurus) and still exploring the world (9th house).
I learned a lot and met people from many different backgrounds and cultures. This came especially when my progressed moon switched into Gemini. I became very interested in the person in front of me. I started also taking more courses and studying more, as 9th house themes were now under the loop of a Gemini vibe. Like cacao medicine, the astrology course and reading many many many books.
After my progressed moon moved into the 10th house I felt like it was time for me to take this astrology and blog more serious and I created the website! Upcoming October will be my progressed lunar return in Cancer – can’t wait!!
