According to my yoga teacher from India, the kundalini practice is very misunderstood and dangerous. I am not sure what exactly we mean with the kundalini awakening in the west.
All I can say is that it has been really beneficial for me to participate in these ceremonies. You lay down and the facilitator just touches you – either physically or energetically.
Whenever there are certain things in my life, happenings. That turn my world upside down, I feel like this way of healing resonates deeply with me.
Most of the times it is very intense movements and releases. Sometimes I see colors or visions. It is beautiful. The aftermath comes in the integration process, where you get a lot of insights and feel more connected to the universal wisdom.
It is a sacred practice and I would not recommend to just go to “anyone” – be careful who you share your energy with.
