snakes: fear or surrender

Snakes, I see certain events as snakes. I see certain things we call issues as snakes. I see certain irritations as snakes. Many things to be called snakes.

Imagine the scenario where you see several snakes – moving around. A little like the snakes in the film “The Hunger Games”.

You can visualize them as tight and strong, trying to strangle you or themselves or everything.

You can also visualize them being flowing – dancing around you.

The tightness I associate to fear, anger, misunderstanding and resistant to change.

The flowing I associate to surrendering, open mindedness, literal flowing through life. Taking each event or situation as it comes.

When something happens and I get very emotional I realize I’m tightening the snakes – just the thought of the fact that I am doing it to myself – makes me surrender. I continue to be in a state of flow.

This practice takes time but truly – give it a try.
